ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

This book is a whole life. The life of Simon.

This is a lifetime, the life of Simon. Also a great, wide and profound novel, like the ones before. And yet, rabidly contemporary, because it knows how to tell the intimate and collective worries of our time.

Classic and modern. Or modern and classic. After the success of Rayos, Miqui Otero has taken years to sign his great novel of confirmation, from the Olympic euphoria to the Rambla attacks, from childhood to maturity. In the wake of Baroja’s adventurous passion, with a certain traditional air along the lines of Ordesa, with Marss love for street legend and with the tenderness and contemporary humor of Junot Daz. That is to say, delicate and hard, global and very intimate. A novel like the ones before, but that explains our world to us and that could only have been written now.

Miqui Otero is crowned with one of the most moving and authentic novels of recent times. A novel full of places and people to return to.
