ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Ray Loriga, recipient of the Alfaguara Novel Prize, returns with a story on the razors edge about the limits of humanity.

The worldand this is well knownis nothing more than an ambush.

The narrator wakes up on a bed he doesnt recognize, in a room that doesnt feel as his own. The suns coming up, but he doesnt know where he is, or what prevents him from getting up. He cant open his eyes nor identify the noises and voices coming from outside. In his drowsiness, he tries to thread one memory to another, putting together a mosaic where just one constant seems to anchor him to reality: his relationship with Elisa and Tim.

With an accurate and sharp prose, Tim follows the vulnerability of a being on the edge of consciousness, battling himself and the world around him. Almost like a metaphor of our present, the tale is built and rebuilt, over and over, until the reader stands before the abyss of what is true and of the ultimate concept of identity.
